A Safe Place

Welcome to our family blog! Here Ariel and I plan to chronicle our homeschooling adventures with our two boys, Gabriel and Julian, while also speaking about our Christian faith and how we seek to live in a way that honors our King. You might be wondering why we would choose to do this on a blog when we could post on places like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and many other social media channels? I can summarize it one simple word: freedom.

2020 and most of 2021 has taught our family that this world seeks control over freedom. Whether it's the insanity of Covid-19 hysteria, leftist propaganda, government overreach, or the depravity of today's entertainment, we see more and more a significant need for a safe place from the sin of this world. Ariel and I both want to raise our boys in a home that does not cave to the world's demands, but in a home that stands proudly for the Gospel and rejects the woke theology of our times. We don't see the values of Christ taught in a public school system so we eagerly turn to homeschooling as a much better alternative for our family. It's our hope that you'll see this as well if you don't already and join us on this journey.

Our website will be a private and safe place for our friends and family to see what we're up to, what we value, and how we're doing in spite of everything. We invite you to register as a member to see all of our content here. Registration is free for anyone who knows us personally or received an invite via email. We'll be writing up posts with pictures and videos soon, so please feel free to comment or get in touch via email down below.
